Another busy week has come and gone. This one was full of assignments and commitments. Group assignments are always challenging but we managed to get it done, even if we weren’t on time. I also got some marks back from previous assignments (finally) and I didn’t do as badly as I thought. A little hard work and dedication pays off in the end.
I also took my sister to her driving classes and she very nearly passed her parking test, she just has to repeat parallel parking on Tuesday. If she manages it, she just has to do her two driving tests and then we can be done with lessons.
In the midst of all the chaos, I managed to make time for three important social events. Number One: The Crimes of Grindelwald release day. Anyone who has known me for longer than five minutes can tell you that I have a somewhat unhealthy obsession with Harry Potter, so of course I had to go watch it and my boyfriend was lovely enough to take me on Friday and we went to lunch afterwards.
Number Two: that same evening we went to a game night at a friend’s house and we had some good food and wine. Number Three: he invited me to attend the Alumni Dinner of our university on Saturday. It was odd seeing lecturers and other students in such a formal setting but the food was good (especially the dessert) and we had some fun taking pictures. It wasn’t a very long event and we ended up staying a bit late to drink some tea and snap some more pictures of the Burj Khalifa and then got karak on the way home.
Overall, a jam-packed week and a lot of amazing memories were made. Now I have a total of four assignments left and they are all due this week. I’ve started them all but none are close to being done yet. Wish me luck.
What have you done this week? Let me know.
